Happy first birthday RealKM Magazine!

A year ago today, RealKM Magazine welcomed it’s first readers, with the aim of bringing you the findings of high-value knowledge management (KM) research.

Over the past year, we’ve published over 300 articles that have received 33,500 page views from 13,500 internet users, and participated in many insightful social media discussions in regard to the issues raised. In doing so, we hope that we’ve made you think about the need for high-quality evidence to support the tools, techniques and practices used in KM.

In celebrating this important milestone, I would like to thank the people who have made it happen. The great foresight and strong commitment to evidence-based KM of founding editor Stephen Bounds, from specialist information and knowledge management consultancy KnowQuestion, has made the establishment and ongoing development of RealKM Magazine possible. Then there are our outstanding authors, including Sally Chik, David Williams, Andre Saito, Adi Gaskell, Maureen Sullivan, and Ian Fry.  Very importantly, there are RealKM Magazine’s avid readers, including many who have taken the time to share their insights and perspectives in comments and discussion on articles on the website and in social media.
