Organization Management Rhythm (part 8): Products Produced
This article is part 8 of a series of articles on Organization Management Rhythm.
The products produced by the Organization Management Rhythm Manager will consist of a product that uses swimlanes to show the process flow of information and of the meetings in regard to how they impact the decision making process. It can be arranged horizontally or vertically to display based by staff section or by function. This aids the staff in showing how what they do, the information they consume, and what they produce affects the other sections, products, or meetings. It is a quick visual way to show these products.
Organization Management Rhythm can be shown in multiple ways. An excel document that shows the business week with spaces for time can be used. A standard calendar can be used to show the different meetings. It can be based on staff organizations. It can be based upon lines of effort for the company. The main point is that no matter which system is used it has the items listed in a logical way for the organization’s use to depict daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly , or special events.
